How I Built an Organic Traffic Channel from Scratch, Generating +1,000 Sales and +€1.5M

The Challenge

The challenge was twofold. Not only was the client starting with almost zero organic visibility, but we also had to navigate an extremely volatile landscape.

During the project, we managed a complex website migration—a process known for causing traffic fluctuations. At the same time, we had to adapt to the disruption caused by the introduction of AI Overviews (SGE), which destabilized the SERPs.

The goal was to build a profitable and scalable channel despite these technical challenges and algorithm shifts.

The Strategy

My approach was a comprehensive SEO and Content Localization strategy, focused on both transactional and informational search intent:

• Audit & Architecture: We conducted an initial audit to define the optimal web architecture and content strategy.

• Keyword Research: We identified high-value keywords with low-to-medium competition to drive short-term results.

• Technical Migration Management: We planned and executed a controlled website migration. This involved managing the expected traffic fluctuations, ensuring proper redirects were implemented, and minimizing authority loss to quickly regain visibility.

• Adaptation to AI Overviews: We actively monitored the impact of the introduction of AI Overviews (SGE). The content strategy was adjusted to target "conversational intent," allowing us to continue capturing qualified traffic despite the drastic changes to the SERP.

• SEO Content Creation: We created an optimized blog and landing pages, positioning them to rank for strategic keywords.

• Continuous Optimization: We constantly tracked rankings and metrics to fine-tune the strategy, optimizing existing content and identifying new opportunities.

Visibility

The Results

Despite the extreme market volatility and internal technical challenges, the strategy proved to be a resounding success. Not only did we successfully manage the website migration—recovering the traffic lost after the initial fluctuations—but the strategy also successfully adapted to continue growing in the new era of AI Overviews.

Over a period of 18 months, the implemented strategy completely transformed the client's organic channel:

• +€1.5M in Sales: We generated +500 direct sales attributable to SEO, with an average ticket value of €2,190 each.

• +1,000 Total Sales: The organic channel produced 783 sales in 2025 alone (as of this post) and 288 in 2024.

• +1,000 Leads/Month: We scaled qualified lead acquisition to over 1,000 organic leads per month.

• Profitable Channel from Scratch: We proved the viability of building a profitable organic traffic channel from the ground up.
